A government is ultimately only as good or bad as the public charter defining its parameters.
We the people of the United States are properly the ultimate policymakers guiding our government and controlling its outcomes, yet nowhere in our public charters or statutes do we find any provisions for direct policymaking or holding representatives accountable to our public will.
This design flaw concerning the issue of public accountability has allowed our representative government to become corrupt and self-serving, and to get away with making numerous unconstitutional policies undermining our security, standard of living, and quality of life.
Over the last century, our formerly limited government whose job is serving and protecting our interests, has morphed into a giant cartel of elected and unelected bureaucrats who routinely act together in concert with cronies to profit at our expense by imposing unconstitutional policies involving our money supply, taxes, wars, public debt, pensions, investments, housing, mortgages, insurance, health care, education, energy, transportation, and industry.
These unconstitutional policies have doubled our cost of living and significantly reduced our quality of life. This heavy and unnecessary financial burden is causing us stress, undermining our ability to afford marriage, family, and home ownership, and ruining our hopes and dreams of having happy, fulfilled lives with a sustainable future.
Fortunately, the problem is easy to fix. All we need to do is add a modern bill of rights to our county public charters. After we lay this essential legal foundation for good government, we use the ballot initiative process to make public policies for our representatives to follow, and use our juries to impeach them whenever they refuse to comply with our public will.
These simple steps and tools are how we the people can regain control of our government, bring its functioning back into alignment with our nation's founding principles, and use it as a vehicle to restore our entire society's integrity, vitality, and prosperity.
